Nelly feat. Jermaine Dupri & Ciara – “Stepped’ on my J’s”

When I first heard this track, I was not feelin’ it. But after some serious force to listen to this song, it grew on me. The video isn’t that spectacular but I did catch a lot of  jokes from it. Peep my notes below. Also, Lil JJ makes a brief appearance in the video.

Thoughts?

• Did Nelly really have to be in the video topless? Was it that necessary?
• Is it me or did Ciara lose weight?
• Who does Jermaine Dupri think he is? Spike Lee? Shooot!
• Didn’t Nelly already make a song about shoes? (Hint Hint: Nike Air Forces) Is that even legal?
• OMG – Nelly’s acting is bogus!!!
• I know JD is short, but dang how tall is Nelly if homegirl Ciara taller than you?
