  • Tech Report: 8GB Zune Player

About a month ago, I got a FREE 8 GB Zune Player as part of a promotions campaign from a company that will remain undisclosed. For those who don’t know about the Zune, it is the Microsoft version of the Apple’s iPod. I am sure you guys seen the commercials with the N*E*R*D’s song “Spazz”. It was finally release in Canada as of June 18th. The retail price of this model is 189.99.

In the Zune Player package -zune player, earphones and a USB data cable. The AC Adaptor is sold seperately. I was fortunate enough to be an AC adaptor and premium headphones that I haven’t opened yet. After using the zune player for over a month, I figure why not blog about it.

The features the zune player has that the Apple Ipod doesn’t is wireless, radio and online community. You can connect with friends and other people and share music through the wireless device. (Somewhat like a bluetooth connectivity). The pad is touch sensitive similar to the apple’s ipod. It pretty easy to use and very lightweight. The battery on average can last you 18 hours in which for me it lasts me about 6 days. The functionability works about the same as the apple’s ipod but I feel a lot cooler with the Zune considering not a lot of people have it yet.

I love my zune player and I honestly have nothing bad to say about it except where is the damn clock? How are you going a make a zune player without a clock? Unless I am blind.

If you are interested in purchasing one, visit the Zune website.
Peep my zune player gadget below to see what I am listening to.
If you have zune – be sure to add me as a friend
