T-Pain took the time to talk about this upcoming album THR33 RINGZ. He mentioned the reason behind the title and proclaimed himself as the “Ring Leader” of the industry. He is absolutely right. There are many who have been trying to immulate him with the use of T-Pain’s best friend, the vocoder. Check out what T-Pain had to say about some of the industry’s finest. T-Pain also mention that the T-Wayne Tour will be starting in December and there is a Toronto date. (hmm – I am not convinced) Lil Wayne CAN NOT cross the border, so how is his ass getting over here? Janet Jackson started her Rock Witchu Tour on Sept 10th at the GM Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. Last night (Sept 13th), Janet made her second stop at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California with Nelly performing over 35 songs including including “Black Cat,” “Control” “Discipline” and my favorite “Alright”. The two and half hours set features over five costumes changes that weren’t too extravagant and a lot of lighting and stage props. According to Rolling Stone.com, Janet may have sang along to backing track but she didn’t lip synched. Good to hear that some artists aren’t lip synching.

Be sure to check out Janet Jackson at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on September 28th with LL Cool J.  The Young, Fresh & New is working on getting photos and videos from the tour in Toronto.

This past weekend, it was the first Pemberton Music Festival out in Pemberton, British Columbia. It was a three day festival that took over Pemberton, B.C. with some of the hottest performers including Jay-Z, N*E*R*D, Coldplay, Nine Inch Nails, Tragically Hip and many many more. Over 40,000 people showed up for the three days extravaganza which was the first ever in Pemberton, B.C. Judging from various reviews, the festival was a success and hopefully it will be an annual event.
