  • Tyra Banks Show Wins a Daytime Emmy Award

    June 20.08 @ 10:48 pm
    Posted By: admin

Tonight, the 35th Daytime Emmy Award took place in Hollywood hosted by comedian/co-host from “The View” Sherri Shepherd and All My Children heartthrob Cameron Mathison.

My Girl Tyra Banks was a winner tonight for receiving a Daytime Emmy Award for “Best Informative Talk Show.” She is MY version of “Oprah”. I feel that Tyra is on a quest to reach out to many young women and teenagers and become a role model that many people can relate to.

I am a HUGE fan of the Tyra Banks Show and the main reason why I am so in tuned with the show is that I can relate to many topics that Tyra discusses on her show. She is a very informative woman and she keeps it “REAL”.

For all those Tyra Banks haters – go kick rocks!!!

Congratulations Tyra – you did it girllllll!!!!

Young Buck – Phone Conversation Part.2

    Update!!

Now Young Buck has responded to this whole phone conversation with a classic diss record. YAY!! Someone’s album sales are going to increase next week. Sources are also indicated that the phone conversation that Fifty leaked is about a year old. Either way, it’s still mad funny in my eye. Listen to the track below.

    Taped Conversation

    Listen to what Buck says
“Bitch niggas, do bitch thangs /
Look at 50, what he does just to get fame/
Record my phone call when I spoke from the heart/
That was a year ago, this was a joke from the start/
    You a ho, now I know/
The only people that record conversations is 5-0/

    …Put your child on T.V/
    Banks looks uneasy/
If he told you how i feel/
This is where he would be/
    And They Know/
Ya-yo is stuck in your a-hole/

    ..Real Niggas do real things/
Real Niggas never die and give real names/
If a real nigga cry, then it’s real pain/

That’s What’s Up: NBA Finals – Boston Celtics Wins!!!

    June 18.08 @ 12:38 am
    Posted By: admin

The Boston Celtics are officially crowned the “2008 NBA Champions”. Who would of really thought that almost a year ago, the GM had a SERIOUS mission to take over the NBA. With the powerhouses of Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo and others, and coached by Doc Rivers, it was a wrap for the Boston Celtics to take over the 2007-2008 NBA Season.

It was a definitely a huge battle for the Celtics in the playoff, with barely winning road games against Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Lakers. They have fought long and hard for this moment and they have received everything anyone could ever hope for.

    Congratulations to the Boston Celtics!!!

    Thoughts?

    • Like really? 131 – 92 (almost 40 points) – is that the best/worst game score?
    • KG – going crazy after they won the championship
    • Kobe – did anyone see a tear or two? I gotta hear homeboy post-game interview.
    • Paul Pierce – has been partying since the second quarter!

That’s What’s Up: Lil Wayne “The Carter III” sells over 1 Million Copies

    June 18.08 @ 12:27 am
    Posted By: admin

Yup, That’s Right. Lil Wayne can talk all he wants about “A Millie”. Why? Because according to Soundscan, Lil Wayne has sold 1,005,545copies of his latest release “The Carter: III” in one week. He sold “A Millie” in one week!!!!!! He becomes the first person in three years to sell over 1 million copies after 50 Cent’s sophomore release “The Massacre” sold 1.3 million copies in his first week. Most recently, Kanye West’s last release “Graduation” was the closest to hit the 1 million mark but became short by 45,000 copies. It is also reported that Lil Weezy sold 423,000 copies in his first day. I am not sure if that’s a record but it sure does sound like one. Overall, I must say I am happy that Lil Wayne can sell a lot of copies and they say Hip Hop is Dead! It’s a MILLIE baby!!

    Thoughts?

Word is that he is going on tour with T-Pain. My question is when is Lil Wayne coming to Toronto??

BTW – peep the video below. It’s Lil Wayne first official video blog. He took the opportunity to thank all his fans who went and bought “The Carter: III” and all the people who were a part of this project incl. Static Major (R.I.P) Madd Love.
