Party People, you are not ready!!  Honey Jam Sunday night at The Mod Club.  One of the most anticipated performances of the night, the DEBUT….TRISH.  If you were there, you know what I’m talking about and if you missed it….check the footage.  This girl put it down on stage as she performed the Major Music produced track “Get on Da Floor”.  Dis chune is going to be my song in the club and betcha it will be yours too!  This track doesn’t sound like anything that’s out now and I LOVE THAT!  Let me tell you how Trish owned that whole performance.  She connected with the crowd, utilized the stage and she danced,  Not no little twist twist and or toe tap, she gave us Big Moves. It was the perfect choreography for the song. Her Hair…Edgy.  Her Attire….Straight Style. Her Performance….Worth the wait.  Her Swagger……INTENSE.  You can tell the team’s vision is to keep her straight out the box and the Young Fresh New Team will be there to support.  Special congrats to Wayne, Luther, Click and especially Trish .  www.myspace.com/trishonline

Check out Trish performing at the Parkdale Youth Festival at Masaryk Cowan Park on Saturday August 23, 2008.  Oh boy, I just got word that she’s got a 15 mins set starting at 6:25pm.  Can the stage handle it?!!

She’s a breath of fresh air. Get on…TRISH.

Ok, so I told you about Trish but I should let you know more about the event’s 13th Anniversary.  Music’s Finest took the stage for some great performances. I must say, I haven’t been to Honey Jam in minute (maybe its me) but I don’t recall the event being so diverse which was great.  Something for everyone.   Performances ranged from Country music courtesy of Amber Schneider to music of the island from “The Princess of the Pan” Joy Lapps, Pop/Urban/Rocker – Sarah Melody and Shobha who put it down on her guitar and sang that song attitude.  Pretty cool.  However, I gotta touch on some of the ladies that I really enjoyed.  Talented five member singing and dance group, Cookie Couture, Miss Jazz/Blues/Soul Diva, Soren and Elise LeGrow who sang Gershwin’s Someone to Watch Over Me. These ladies had incredible stage presence and I felt like they pulled me into their performance.  Talented! To end the night, there was an all female freestyle where I got to hear some of the artists I missed earlier, showcase their gifts.  Applause to Nicola Moore and Tika Simone.  Check out the www.honeyjam.com to get info on featured artists.
