Kanye West has announced the official release date for his upcoming album 808s and Heartbreak. It was reported early in September that Kanye would release his album in Decemeber but he moved the date up to November 25.

“November something” now has an official number: November 25. On Friday night in Los Angeles, Kanye West announced the exact release date of his new album, 808s and Heartbreak, when he appeared as a special guest during T.I.’s MySpace concert at the Key Club.

West came out and surprised the audience, performing “Swagger Like Us” with Tip. The King of the South then turned the stage over to Kanye’s command, and the Chicago native went into the first verse of “Love Lockdown.”

“I just pushed my album up to November 25,” he told the audience. “We just finished the album. I just got back from Hawaii earlier today.”

It is already one hectic quarter for the music industry as all the major labels are preparing to release major album including Jay-Z, Beyonce, T-Pain, John Legend, Ludacris and many more. It was no surprise that Kanye would change the date and it was a wise decision that he moved the date earlier because many albums don’t sell too well in the first two months of the first quarter. So in this case he had no choice, and he probably wanted to release the album this year. Good Luck and we will see how well he will do in his first week. I wonder who else is set to release on November 25th?

Check out Kanye performing his second single “Heartless” at T.I’s Myspace Concert.
